Through professional audio engineering, live event production, creative media services, technical consulting and industry-connected workforce initiatives, Beyond Average delivers high-quality production experiences while creating pathways for underserved youth, emerging professionals and entrepreneurs throughout Los Angeles County to develop industry-ready skills and sustainable careers in entertainment technology, audiovisual systems, digital infrastructure, live production, technical operations, entertainment business and creative entrepreneurship.

The organization’s education and workforce division, Activating Inner Muse (A.I.M.), provides hands-on Career Technical Education programming in audio engineering, music production, DJ performance, live production, media arts and music business through culturally responsive curriculum and real-world industry training designed to transform creativity into career potential.
